'09 Year Of The Hype !

I'm gonna start of with:

Jordans !
I know half of these dudes going out and buying Air Jordans weren't even Jordan fans untill (whenever). If you want to flip it on me?? I can escort you toward the old family albums and show you the pictures myself. Yes, I only have about 10 pairs but those 10 pairs are only the pairs that survived my careless-ness, the rest are on some lucky filiphino's feet. Come on now I got posters and suitcases that I've had since the 90's. First pair where the 11's in 1998. First Nikes where AirMax's. May I say anymore? We dress, ball, and live with Jordans and Nikes .

Starter Caps !
And the "strap-backs" as well. Well just to let you know, the Starter Cap has been on my head since a young scholar, it's been reunited on my head in '07-'08. I am a fan of sports not fashion and swagg so. I remembered when dudes plucked over the hats and then as soon as sportszone came to cmonwealth everybody got on it. I know who's hypebeast or notso, don't have to lie or play it off. I actually like the Bulls sooooo lol. All these dudes claiming all this nonsense and stuff. One day they saying Starters Caps this, then next day they got it on. If I never introduced you to the Starters as a bro, and you just peeped it on my head and then saw the store near commonwealth...thats hypebeast. People be saying ANYTHING just so they won't be called hypebeast man. Cutt Back To Your Roots (thats what I did) and respect the few that first did it. And I KNOW who's been wearing for years and who's been wearing them for week or months, so don't front ! These are like my most prized pocessions besides Air Jordans, please don't just use it as a fashion !

Clothes !
Well yes, I admit I didn't always wear tight jeans...but name someone that was cool in 2000-2005 that was. However, I hopped back on Levis in '07 and alladat. By the way, Rainbow Levis aren't that cool lol (I only put on denim). And all you people trying to wear 10Deep, Stussy, The Hundreds, Crooks&Castles, and ect. for the fashion and fly, that's hypebeasts. People that wear it originally know the history and culture behind it (and because it's cool too lol). The Flanels ! Boy oh boy, I remember when I first put on the red&black flanel (lumberjack) in '07. Everybody either joked me or asked me where I got it from, then stores started selling it. And the purple DC hoodie as well. So all in all, if you JUST started dressing like how you are dressing now, or you bought those "fashionable" clothes just because you saw it on an another person or advertisement of any sort....your HYPEBEAST.

Music !
1st is WALE. Man....half of the people that went to the concert at the Norva, just either started listening to him this year or only know his one song or known him from the XXL magazine. Wale has been out since like 2004. "Nikeboots" is old, it originally came from "Uptown Roamers." I sadly only been listening him since Winter '08 and late '07. Again Cut Back To Your Roots. Don't listen to music just because it's a commonwealth or someone "fly" is listening to it. Listen to what fits you.

-And I see you might of noticed the years I started "doing this" were in 2007, that is because that is the year I left Ruffner Middle (uniforms). But again my taste for music, shoe brands, and state of mind stayed that same. In today's society you no longer can express yourself without someone imitating it. So long to that, so Long. Also, my Broz and I can tell who's hypebeast (it's a 6th sense so be aware we know!). It's like another hobby now lol Oh and stop trynna do the same stuff my broz be doing too, I know it's just myspace but then again it is just myspace so there is noo need for you to mi-mick their individuality! Yeah, we see yall too! In addition, more than half of the people talking about hypebeast...ARE HYPEBEASTS lol. Boy, I actually miss the days people joked me and my individuality.
